I tried searching for a similar posting, but couldn't find one. Had a question regarding visas for U.S. citizens. I am moving to Doha in July, and wanted to know the process of obtaining a work visa. My understanding is that I can obtain a visit visa upon my arrival in Doha, but then would my employer need to apply for my work visa? If so, how long does that take?

you obtain your visit visa upon arrival at the airport, then it’s a business of your Company’s PRO to get a working visa for you.. depends on PRO it might take from three weeks up to few months.. sometimes you really have to push them up to get the things done..
