Query about family visa

By itguy1975

Hello everyone,

I have the below query, could anyone clear my doubt?

I have completed my degree but have not collected my degree certificate. I do have all my degree marksheets and based on that can i apply for a family visa? Alternately can i apply for a family visa based on my Predegree certificate (12th standard).

Is a degree a must for applying a family visa?

thanks & regards

I have Dubai attestation. But I don’t have Qatar Consulate (India) attestation in my certificate. Is it necessary for Indian Embassy attestation (Qatar)?...For answers Visit below link..

Hi Miraz;

I have read your comment regarding Family Visa in one of mail thread, and I am curious because, I have a son who is already 27 y/o and I cannot get him a family visa because, his age is over the limit. He is actually here now with me in Qatar on a Visit Visa but I want to know If you can help me to get him a Family Visa under my sponsorship. Or Is there anyone or possibly you, who can arrange for him a Resident Visa and how much it will cost for him to have it. Please advise and PM me please

Hey,

* If you are from Mumbai University, then untill you get your degree, you can apply and collect a special certificate.

* It is a valid document, till you collect your degree.

Regards,

samix

He is right. You come back here with all the necessary papers and apply through PRO. I didn't even go out of the office for this purpose. He did everything for me and I got the RP within 5 days.

Da Rude,---The people here is coming for advice not for INSULT so please if you dont have anything nice to say "Come on" leave them... they DONT need your insult.. Or maybe you just need an attention??? ATTENTION SEEKER????

ITGUY1975;=== family visa should get approval from Labor Department first. In labor department, they need all your documents (i mean marriage contract and others) to be authenticated by MOFA, then you have to attached all the necessary documents such as your working contract and bank statement and etc. (pls ask others for complete requirements) and submit to Labor Department then they will give you a receipt bearing your application no.. after a couple days (usually written on the receipt as well) you can check it through website if approved or not, in such as case that they did not approved you can go there again and check what is the problem... blah blah and so on..

Anyway, i cannot give you the complete information but at least you have a hint how to do it just in case if you are already here.

Nowadays they do look at the qualifications as well. So if you dont meet the criteria they can as well reject your visa application itself.

The main requirements is the contract between you and company you are working for and the type of your visa. If you're working visa is under low category such as Laborer, driver and other small salaried categories then you are not eligible to apply.

If you have a working contract and your salary is minimum Qrs. 4500.00 (should be supported by 6 months bank statement) then you are eligible to apply however it will still depend on your company because the ministry of labor will require the NOC (non Objection certificate) from your employer that they dont have any objection for you to get your family. The main objective for this is to make sure that, you are capable of giving your family a decent life here in Qatar.

I hope it could help.
