RE-ENTRY PROBLEM to DOHA

When me and my husband are about to go back to Doha last month boarding a connecting flight of Emirates Airlines from Manila to Dubai then Dubai to Doha we have encounter a problem regarding my visa with one of the ground crew at Dubai who was checking the docs of all the passengers . He noticed that my last name at the new passport and my working visa was not the same. The reason for having different names at my documents is that I just get married last December and my husband is already processing all our documents for providing me a husband sponsorship. Dubai airport didn’t allow me anymore to enter Doha due to this change at my passport even though we showed them our marriage contract that is already authenticated there in manila with red ribbon and we also acquired all necessary authentication here at Doha Philippines embassy and stamp of authentication of the Ministry of Interior of Doha, Qatar Airport Immigration.
Is there any possibility for me to re-enter Qatar using my new passport and current visa? if not, can anyone advice me on what to do? Thanks

.. you should have brought along your old passport. normally, the old passport was stapled with the new passport, so that, they can verify it if it is the same.

.. and yes, you should have rode with qatar airways. as your documents was authenticated with doha phils embassy. maybe, the immigration officials here will be able to understand your change of name.

I'm not an authority regarding this matter. But I think you need to execute an affidavit that you changed your maiden surname to your present surname in the new passport due to marriage. After notarization you need to authenticate it at the DFA office and Qatar embassy Philippines. Then you need to publish it in the newspapers regarding the change of your name. The best way is to consult a legal counsel or lawyer who is expert on the matter. Good luck kabayan.
