Always remember, to enter in the country...The condition is a valid RP...So, you have to come back here before the expiry date of your RP and after passing the six months, your father and mother's passport copies are required with the fee amount to get permission. Of course in your absence, and the paper should be ready befor your arrival.

For your RP renewal... your passport and your presence is a must.

Thank you so MUCH... :) u've been a big help with what im going to do.. I want to clear one more thing.. Im a student on my RP and it will expire on May 2010.. Can I still go back here in Qatar after the expiry date and just pay QR 500? when should I pay QR 500 for extension of 12 months? before I go to my home country this December or when I already get back here in Qatar probably 2010? Thank you again..

Other way is to cancel your RP and you can re-enter on a visit visa any time..

either come back in 6 months or pay Qrs 500 & get it extended to one year. If you crossed 12 months, your dad will have to bring you here on a new visa under his sponsorship.

better to come back within 6 months

if u are a student, you may need to pay QR 500, so that you can skip the 6 months period; but you have to come back within 12 months of departures

in both cases ( 6 or 12 months ) .... YOU WILL HAVE TO COME BACK, if the date of VIsa expiery is falling within this time..... Means, before the expiry date you shuld enter the country. Your passport is required in Qatar, at the time of renewal.

You can go anywhere and return within 6 months' time period with a valid RP...but, if you're a student, you can skip one 6 months' period with a valid RP by submitting a fee of QR.500/-and you will be allowed to enter in the country within 12 months.
