Regarding Black list on my previous passport - How do I remove it?

I have recently entered on a Work permit visa into Qatar, however at the RP stage, I was told that my old passport number/against my previous RP (when I was in Qatar 13 years ago) has been black listed. However, although the search and followup reviewed the case and did not find any backup case against me, but they have been verifying this matter for more than 1 and 1/2 month now. Everytime my mandoob visits, he is told to come next week. Friends, my family has not been able to join me and my son is missing his school. Is there any way that some body can guide me if there are ways to expedite the matter. Can any lawyer help me? Any names/numbers for such lawyers? Much appreciated.
