Regarding a family visit visa....

Dear,
Can any one plz tell me what documents i have to bring to the immigration when going for renewal of family visit visa.
As i checked that medical report is already sent to immigration and how many days it will take to get stamped for 6 months visa.

You dont need to go to Bldg 1 for renewal if it is during first month of visit. Just get the forms typed and go straight to bldg 4 with passport and your QID and they will do it for a maximum of 5 months more. Fees is QR 200/- per month.

All the tiem required is the time you spend waiting for your turn. Counter person will do it immediately as soon as your turn comes.

OOpss, i think the above pasted links has got deleted by the MODs for some reason..here is the answer:

Submit application form. Just go to immigration office, they have their own typing services , all they need is your wife's passport and your ID. Then, proceed to building # 1 to get the captain's/the upper boss's signature. After he signs, proceed to building # 4 for payment. Make sure you have a copy of your wife's return ticket, the officer at the cashier may or may not be asking for it. But be ready with the necessary documents.
