regarding qatar petroleum job offer letter

I got iffer letter hard copy by hand written frm qp indefinite contract on the spot after interview after that visa issued after 2 month ,then they send me new offer letter on mail and details forms about prvs employers and edu & exp deatail again but new offer later is for work 2 yrs at fixed basic salary ...anybody tell me it is definite contract or indefinite?it will b renewed or not after two yrs.

How long have u been in QP? When you moved to QP accomodations, r u based in Doha? is it near to HQ? FYI, i've been offered by QP and will be based in Doha in few month's time.. is it far since we r new and don't hv any transportation yet. ..really hope you could assist me in providing some info.. thanks..

I have been shortlisted for site interview from QP and i have sent passport copies immdly. So for no reply from QP. Now nearing two weeks. Usually how long it will take to arrange a visa for site interview?. Pls reply me. I am awaiting.

I am eager to know within how many days you received the visa. I am awaiting for my visa for the last two weeks.

Manivannan, it probably depends on your grade but the process for me was. After the offer was received, things moved very quicly and within one month I was in Doha. I stayed in a hotel for three nights and really did not do anything during those three days other than sign the contract, so enjoy your mini holiday and the free meals on QP. After three days you are moved to QP accomodations! Good luck and congratulations on your new job. Don't let the complainers discourage your positive outlook! Greg

i was interviewed by a team from QP i dont have their e mail and further the interview was organised by an agency in Mumbai in india

Manivannan, I started with QP three months ago. I didn't hear anything for about 45 days and than sent an email of inquiry to the person who interviewed me and things moved faster after. Good luck, Greg
