Relatives visit visa
Im here on husband sponsorship (have a Residence Permit) - would like to bring my sister over for a month just to visit us-however,shes single and someone was saying that she may not be granted a visit visa-is this true?has anybody brought in relatives like this to Doha?will i be able to get a visit visa for her?
Well hey there mate...
Normally, you take the passport copies and your RP Copy, and go to the Immig at the Airport...apply and you will know in a day's time...get the application number and check online...(luck matters)...
Having got the Visa, it is normally for a 14 day when they arrive at Qatar, once the 14days are done, go back there and apply for another 14 days...that becomes 28 days...
And this is where my confusion always lies, till a while ago, after these 28 days, to get the visa again for anohter 28 days, a person had to go out of Qatar and come back..I mean exit in a flight and can come in the return flight...to get another extension for 28 days, but off late what Ihave heard is you dont need to exit, but you need to pay the fare of a ticket or likewise at Qatar Airways office...to extend for another 28 days...(this point check it out at QA Office)...

Im glad to find someone having the same issue.I need to bring my sister and kids here as well.I dint get the procedure,do we go to the Airport and check with the authorities there.How many days visa is this?

if she is direct sister you should be able to sponsor it to come here. Not sure about relatives though.
Well, your immediate relatives can be brought on your RP, but yes it is true that sometimes, single ladies dont get visas...at that time yoiu might want to try to find a hotel visa...
Go to the Airport Immig and try ur luck...
And now coming to the point, you just said that your sister was single right...hmmmmm....makes it more interesting...she wud require to show her the place around right, i mean u wud be busy with your hubby, what do ya think...(knock on my door, not on smoky's door)...(hey by the way, no offence meant, LOL)...
She's Indian-i just wanted to find out-is it possible to get visit visa for my single sister?as in do they issue such visas for single women?
