release from company

hi,
i was come from india last 3 month ago . but now an other company give me a good offer so i want to know about timing of release because some people tell me first complete your contract after you can go.
thanks friends for suggestion.
I spoke to my friend and it seems he had to leave Qatar albeit temporarily before his new employer could apply for a new business visa, in the event, he left Doha for Germany (had a short vacation and returned on a tourist Visa purchased at the airport and during his first few weeks the new employer had by that time offered him his business Visa.
Hello. A close friend of mine (German) is like me working here in Doha on long term contracts. He had a better offer to work else where (in Doha) and moved without too much fuss. I will ask what he did and what each employer also offered/helped with so that he transferred from one company to another without having to leave the country. I will post a new comment within the next few days with new information. regards. Andrew
If you talk to your company at this point of time about moving over to another company, you will lose this job as well as the job offer from the other company. Your company will most possibly send you home without NOC and you will not be able to get a job here for another two years. Just keep your head down, work with dedication at the job you have in hand and be happy with what you are getting now. Also, as britexpat has mentioned, completing your contract does not guarantee a NOC. Your company may refuse to give you one even after you complete the contract.
Get NOC first from your employer and then talk about moving.
Completing the contract does not guarantee release. Your company must give you an NOC
