Hi,
I am planning to drive to Oman with family during march 2013.I got some inforations from QL, but still some points are not clear.
They are:
For getting Saudi transit , they will ask for a UAE Visa ? And this transit is for both ways?

My visa occupation is Technician, can i get a transit visa or Visit visa up on arrival at UAE land boarder?

If I get UAE visit visa, while coming back from Oman once again should I take visit visa? And the first visit visa need any cancellation as I will take another visit visa in a week time to come back?
Generally hows the road conditions inside Oman and any further informations about fuel stations after Qatar boarder?
If anybody like to join us please inform me.

Interesting...!!! I was planning to get into oman but later decided to spend my short vacation in UAE.

Now refering to ur question.

Firstly the vehicle should be under ur name.

Saudi transit visa will cost QR 150/head, approx 3-4 working days u will get the visa.

U need to apply for UAE transit visa instead of visit visa.

I doubt u wil get visa on arrival at both UAE & oman as ur designation is "Fanny - Technician".

Always fill gas whenever u find a station & do not wait for next station to arrive.

My designation too is same like urs and as i was travelling with family & did not wanted to spoil the plan, i applied UAE visa thru a Dubai Agent.

At the UAE border the visa cost is QR 105/head only.

If u need any further assistance, i will be glad to help u out.
