I have already paid the time of collecting the visa QR 620/-. for my wife. Should I pay again for stamping the RP?

Thank Shav. very informative. So, just to make sure, it does not matter that my family's visit visa will expire during the process. right?

No need to leave doha (and cannot leave doha while visa is under process).

The documentation I stated above, are requirements in applying for the Residence Permit.

Your PRO should lodge the application.

Once the Blue Visa (RP visa) is available, wait for green light from PRO (usually after 2 days) for your wife's and children's medical exam. (For children, only blood test needed, depending on age- this one, double check with PRO).

6 days after medical exam, your wife can go for fingerprint.

Your PRO will lodge the form at Immigration.. to get visa stamped in the passport + Qatar ID.

PROCESSING FEES QR 620 Wife

QR 220 Children under 18 years of age

QR 300 Children over 18 years of age

PROCESSING TIME 6 weeks

Note: It is always best to consult your company's PRO.

Above info are for your reference only.

Br,

Shav

I think if you are working in a profesionally managed company, they should do it, as long as RP is stamped in your passport.

There is an application form which needs to be filled for each person in Arabic. Fill up the forms and take to Medical checkup.

Your family (especially your wife) has to go thorugh Medical tests at Medical Commision at Abu Hamour. You have to pay QR.100/- per person. They may give a paper on compeltion of Medical checkup, and take the papers and go to CID for finger prints which is located near Kahlifa stadium. Complete the finger print at hand over to your "Mandoob" of your company, who should take to Immigration Office and that's it!!!!!!!!!!!

The whole process may take 3 to 4 weeks.

Remember! Carry your original passport and your family and make enough photo copies of your passport (with RP Page) which is a referrel document everywhere.

Hope this information is enough.
