My brother and family are residing in Qatar since 1 year. My brother wishes to take his parents, father aged 70 and mother aged 60 years to Qatar for a one months stay there. However it is said that visa would not be granted to people over 60 years. Is it so and is there any way out?

is available on-line, it only took me a couple of mins to complete from start to finish, much quicker than going down to the immigration department.

Well there is another way of getting a visa for just one month. Just go to the immigration department thats beside the airport from where people get exit permit. Just apply for the qatar airways tourist visa. The tourist visa is minimum for 15 days and maximum for 30 days and it cost 100 riyals per visa.

Once you have filled up the form for the visa, just fo to the incharge there for signature. Just tell him you need it for one month. Once he signs thats it.

Qatar Airways tourist vise of one month is easier to get than applying for visit visa in main immigration department.

Yes it is so. But all you have to do is to go to the emigration department for the visa which the captain must sign. This will be a one month visa and will cost QR200 per visa.

You can PM me for further detail.

It is not fair for not issuing visa for parents above 60 years becuase you will find lot of people over the age of 60 years working so what is the problem for them to issue visa for parents over 60.
