scar in lower part of lungs

i am working in qatar from 2 months and planning to bring my wife.. she had pulminory effussion(early stage of tb) and got a very smal scar in the very lower part of lungs..only a chest specialist can find it..Is it will be a problem? normally who is checkung the chest xray a general medicince doctor or a chest specialist?

i think we have the same problem, my husband is going to qatar next month then after 5 mos he want to get me,my problem is, I have scar and I got it in my childhood days.

so you mean to say xray is checking by radiologist ?? mot a chest specialist?

They are very particular about the chest X-ray. If they (radiologists) find that there is some scar, they would either reject or refer it to a pulmonologist, or a repeat x-ray. Usually, it is problematic.

there's a way...

If you know anyone working in the Medical Commission, you can get an Xray referred with Doctor in Medical Commission & check if she's be positive for Visa here.

As far as I know any scar issues within internal part of the body will be rejected by medical commission and possibility for deportation.

BUT it depends, if you are able to secure a medical certification from your doctor saying that its tolerable/not serious/safe etc ... there is a possibility to accept by Qatar Immigration because I heard same instances from a friend.

I dont know how well i can answer this. If your wife is coming under visit visa and during medical examination if negative comes out then i fear her stay further would be rejected.
