Sponsoring Kid under Mother
Our kids is here in Doha, we tried several time to sponsor him under his father sponsor, however immigration people saying that since I was not under my husband sponsor I am the one who should sponsor the kid.
Is it the new law? Mother can sponsor the kid if the mother is not under husband sponsor?
If a mother coming in new resident visa first time to Qatar ,can she bring her 2yrs child with her.

but they said my salary is fine even not 10000 QR.
If your husband want to apply the RP you must be under in your husband sponsorship otherwise if you have received the salary more than QAR 10000 you can able to apply the RP to your child.
hi.. we have all of that but when we went to immigration they asked my husband if I am here in Doha and if Im working my husband said yes, and they said that I am the mother should sponsor my kid.

Current Process in Family Visa:
1. Salary Letter from Employer -salary overall to be minimum 10000 QAR
2. Copy of Your passport and Work VISA Page
3. Copy of your Education Certificate (ATTESTED )
4, Marriage Certificate (ATTESTED )
5, Child(s) Birth Certificate(s) (ATTESTED )
6) rent agreement duly attested by muncipility (muncipilty shall require another set of documents like copy of title, copy of owner QID, lay out, etc. for stamping)
7, 6 Months bank statement

My friend got his new born son(born in Doha) under his sponsorship for a year after paying 400 at MOI Garraffa. The Mother of the child is not under husbands sponsorship and works elsewhere.
what criteria? same for husband sponsor?
If u meet all criteria then yes you can sponsor your kid.
