Hello! good day to everyone. I accidentally opened this website when I surf the net on how to apply for a visit visa. I have a friend in Qatar and she's willing to apply a visit visa for me, but the problem is about my surname, she told me that my visa cannot process because they cannot find a person with the same surname i have, and they told me that it's one of the requirements that needed. I just want know is it still possible for me to go to Qatar with a visit visa even if they cannot find a person with the same surname? Please help, need an advise. Thanks in advance!

Dweller ... i am actually was quite impressed with my mum 2 nd visit. Her first visit was even more hassle. It was like 4 yrs ago. No one speaks English, at that time the immigration was exactly next door to the airport (now changed to the first class passenger lounge). I have to drag my palestinian girlfriend to be my translator.

And then the visa only for 2 weeks, then i have to renew it again for another 2 weeks. QR 55 every 2 weeks.

The last one in April ... they have an indian lady standing on the door in the immigration that speaks very good English. She told me the step one by one what i have to do ... very helpfull ... ( i assuming she works Qatar airways because she wearing red uniform). And the 'my mom can printed out her own visa from indonesia' was brilliant !!!

dweller .... if you come or hold passport from developing country you surely have to have same sure name.

I brought my mom in last april ... we dont have the same sure name. So i have to show my birth certificate with my mom name on it, and asked for approval from the captain in immigration.

as I know that shouldn't be a problem.

Many tourists have no one of the same name living in Qatar.

I could be wrong, does anybody else know for sure?

Hello! good day to everyone. I accidentally opened this website when I surf the net on how to apply for a visit visa. I have a friend in Qatar and she's willing to apply a visit visa for me, but the problem is, i don't personally know anyone there in Qatar who has the same SURNAME as mine, and she said, that is one major requirement. I just want know if it is still possible for her to apply me a visit visa eventhough i don't personal know anyone in Qatar who has similar surname as mine. Please help! I'm desperate. Thanks in advance!
