i know one who is married to a qatari. she converts into muslim and she had to pass all obstacles and endeavors to conquer her in-laws acceptance.

that includes wearing abaya when out in the public and live according to thier lifestyle.

since she is so talented and professional, she manage to gain her in-laws devotion in short time...

now i think she is been loved by her husband more than a qatari woman can get, and run their business independently.

Marrying a qatari is not that easy task,like the other comments here, maybe he is not that serious to have you in a lifetime. Make your life not complicated, stay away from that qatari and find someone from your country.

that's what i asked if he is married means they have a chance cuz no qatari cant get married to any nationalities unless he is divorced or he is married

there is one particular nationality here, that likes to pretend they are Qatari.... dress the same, talk the same.... ask them their nationality its......... but I was born in Qatar;-P

you can get married outside and come here on visit visa and wait for the approval from the authorities. this could take 6 months to 3 years. if he knows someone in the MOI then it could be quicker. me and my husband got our approval to get married in 3 months. if they dont approve your marriage, i think he can still sponsor you but he will lose alot of his rights/benefits and your children will not hold qatari passports.

without government approval of your marriage, you won't get a family visa back into Qatar, unfortunately.

Marrying you out of the country can cause major problems for your fiance, so I would suggest you wait until your marriage is approved. The only other option is that you relocate somewhere else, marry there, but your marriage will not be valid in Qatar, and you will have no claim to any inheritences if god forbid, something should happen to him.

Does your fiance not have some Wasta, that can obtain your release from your company? I am not saying that will make things any easier, since you still need to have the govt approval for marriage, but at least you can be in Qatar, near him.

me...no you cant unless you have approval you have to wait 1 year then he can sponsor you with his own visa, like company visa or kadama under his name so its easy for you to chance later if you get approval...
