Transfer of Housemaid visa
We have got the maid approval receipt from immigration. (Indonesian national)
We have also identified one housemaid whose current sponsor is leaving the country.
Can someone tell me what is the process to be followed for transferring sponsorship of the housemaid from current sponsor to my husband?
Do we have to prepare a labour contract and get it attested by the labour department?
Do we need to complete any formality at the Indonesian Embassy?
you will need noc from the previous sponsor. the rest should be an easy process.
Daisy dee, celineg is right. here you will get different answers, not necessarily the right ones.
since its a sponsor transfer, you will have to make a new contract, because the contract is between you and the lady. by logic it will require some formalities to be completed by the embassy as well.
contact the immigration office or the embassy for the right information. Do ensure that the current sponsor gives her a NOC in the format acceptable by law here.
