Transfer RP to a new passport (with new number & Married name?)

Could anyone advise if how long does it takes to transfer an RP from Old passport to new passport if the passport has changed passport number and the name has been changed from single name to married name?

what are the requirements?
is there any chance of approval?

Last year i got married and changed my passport with my husband's surname. this year my RP will expire and my company says that it's almost impossible to transfer my RP from my old passport to my new passport.
But i told them to atleast try so they require me to submit a letter from Philippine Embassy stating that i have changed my passport name from my single to married status ( providing all the necessary documents like authenticated marriage certificate).

The Letter from the embassy has been translated to arabic , stamped by Foreign affairs and Chamber of Commerce.

We have already submitted the documents to immigration last week. The PRO says we are waiting for a letter from the immigration that i need to publish to Gulftimes that i have been married etc. (dont really know how it looks like). This week i asked the PRO if are there any updates on my application and he said that he did not check it bec. immigration will only shout at him if he checked it earlier than 3 weeks?
is this true? quite strange to hear this reason from him though.

my current RP will expire at the end of the month, i wish i could be able to transfer my RP to my new passport before it expires so that my company can renew it or else i need to stop working as well.

Please help me.

Thank you very much.

Hello friend that case will not be easy if your PRO dont know how to reason out im working with PRO'S here and I encountered that same case it takes 2 weeks for maximum, as you have said that you attached all the documents needed such as marriage certificate and marriage contract and that's enough you can get approval and there's no reason to be rejected.

Just to inform you we have two kinds of application for RP RENEWAL and TRANSFER of RP to a new passport.

First, it can be applied tru the e-gov't (online) that would be easy once it paid thru online.

Secondly, it can be applied by manual as what you did, so it takes time to wait for that.Dont worry there's no reason/s to be rejected as long as you submitted everything, your old and new pp and the rest...

gud luck.

I had mine for almost a month (though they told me that it will take 2weeks only) after the submission of the required documents to immigration. Better call the no. mentioned in the small card they gave to you when you submit the application for follow-up.
