Hello,

I hold Qatar RP, its already 6 months old and the expiry is on May 2013 as its my first year in Qatar. I will be traveling to India during Jan 2013 and would like to comeback via Dubai. Will I be getting on arrival Visa at Dubai?

Thanks
GG

Thanks Guys.

My position is Computer programmer, and I got my visa on May 2012 and I still have more than 3 months validity on the RP. So I hope I can get the on arrival VISA?

The profession listed in your Qatar ID card should be an approved one. Moreover, you need minimum 91 days validity balance on your RP. Plus you will need to pay Qatari Riyals 187 per person for yourself and each individual accompanying you as a dependent while entering UAE.

dear friend,

u can get a visa on arival at dubai if ur job category is approved by the uae immigration. for example doctors engineers accontants teachers etc. pls check the immigration visa rules in uae site. another matter is the expiry of ur qatar visa. to issue visa on arrival u have to have minimum 6 months or atleast 5 months to expiry. to avoid the risk atleast extent ur rp and go.

If you are travelling via Dubai, you will not be entering Dubai but will be directed to the Transit area to check in for your onward flight to Doha. If you plan to break your journey in Dubai (max 3 days), you can book a package with Emirates Airlines and you can enter Dubai (on arrival).
