Hi.

I would like to get an authentic help on the subject that i am planning togo for umrah but my son passport validity is until may 25th 2012 only.

I got the visa for umrah for my son also but i am afraid that qatar border imigration might stop ua from exiting.

The passport validity will be 3months from the day of exiting doha.

Does anyone had any past experience like this?

Thanks for the help

You may not have problems at qatar immigration while exiting Qatar but may face problems at saudi immigration. Its best that you get the passport renewed befor you travel coz you are travelling by road and its a long journey. Better to be safe than sorry. All the best

i know its international rule for 6 months passport validity. but i heard that for umrah by road in this situation if the passport is for an infant, then the authorities are linient & they allow as you are travelling with the whole family & child is dependant on you.

did you had any experience like this or anyone in your surroundings. who was returned from the border

Passport validity must be at least 6 months...otherwise authorities will not allow the person to leave the country.

Regards!!
