Unused ENTRY VISA need info?

Hi!
Please help, I am new here in QL and needs information regarding entry visa. I have this situation. I was offered a job in qatar last year (august 2010) here in the Philippines. but I withdrew to the job offer due to family reasons and low salary last october 2010 thru the recruitment agency. unknowingly, an entry visa was applied and issued by the employer without my knowledge and the agency. recently, i applied for a job and luckily i passed and got an offer from a new employer. i have processed all the requirements and finally passed medical exam. when the new employer was applying for an entry visa, i was rejected by the immigration of qatar for i was been issued an entry visa by the previous employer. i have asked the agency to contact the previous employer to cancel the visa so that i may be able to have a new visa but till now no response. i did not use the visa and have never enter qatar.
my question is:

1. usually, how long is the validity of an entry visa?

2. what would happen if I did not use the entry visa?

3. is it automatically expires and cancelled?

4. is the new employer may still be able to apply me a new visa?

Please help me for I really need this job.

Thank you.

Hi Baxie214, I have the same problem, can you please share me what you did to solve this. Ministry of Interior Qatar (My Potential Employer) issued me a visa with 6 months validity, without me accepting any offer from them. When I saw the offer after the issuance visa, i declined, now I have a new employer and like to accept their offer, now what should I do. Thank you in advance.

Wait for 6 months.. it will expire by itself.... or you will have to contact prev employer(who offered job) who can cancel the visa by following a procedure(why will he take that pain)
