an Urgent question

A funny situation
My friend's nephew came to Qatar on a friendly companys visa... Just help the boy to find a job and allow him to work in the job keeping the same sponsorhsip and give him release after 2 years as per Qatari law.

After reaching here 10 days back, he has done his medical test , later did the finger print identification. But the passport is his stillwith him, not given to Immigraton for stamping.

Meanwhile, he got a good job from a good company. but thye will give the job, only if he is in their sponsorshp. The earlier sponsor is ready to give him realase . But whatever process he started with Immigration... what will happen ( the medical, finger tip ) ..

Can he join the new job ?

He came on business company visa, right? which is usually 1-3months, and now he is in the process of switching to residence visa with the same sponsor. Medical and finger print....done.

Ok then, if he found a job in another company which is willing to sponsor him, he doesn't need to go back to his own country, he just need an NOC/Release letter from his current sponsor(Sponsor-1), and change his visa into residence permit under the sponsorship of the new company(Sponsor-2).

So long his Residence visa from Sponsor-1 is NOT stamped in his passport, he can transfer his sponsorship to Sponsor-2. But if its already stamped...then, he need to wait for 1 yr within the same sponsor.

Am just not sure if there's any changes recently with this procedures? Otherwise, this is the usual case.

All I did was ask for clarification because I wanted to help.

the-birdie: Let me know if you still need help, as I have a company of my own and I transfer VISA's all the time.

HappY Eid everyone.!

he can easily change the Company as long as the RP has not been stamped into his passport... that's what happened to me...

I did my Medical, my fingerprints, and then i decided not to continue with the first company. I didn't do my fingerprints for the second time, I had to do a Medical again though.. I didn't have to leave Qatar while transferring my visa, and I didn't need a NOC letter either, as RP was not issued yet by the first company...

theres nothing much he can do. since the process has already started for issuing the visa. if not then he had a chance. now just wait for two years.

Interesting. I was just checking whether I knew you in person or not. I couldn't remember.

Anyways, apologies if my comments don't live up to the high standards of light-heartedness and humour that yours set. I try to be amusing where I can, but obviously it just comes across as uptight all the time.

PS. Was there one post of mine in particular that triggered your now 4 month long stint of digs at me, or is it just my general uptight-ness? Just interested.

sorry it is not funny....but a extra oridnary situation

( shall I start a new thread .. did we lose somehwhre )

my question is ..

(1) what will happen to the process, alredy been started ( his figner print and medical exam completed ) .. Is it compulsory for him to complete the procedure and end up with the Sponsor No. 1

(2) Can he still free himself from the procedure started and go back to his homecountry, so that he can come in the visa of Sponsor No. 2

(3) In that case, does he need to get a NOC from the Sponsor No. 1 ?

These are the qustoins ?

( Moderator, shall I start a new thread, here the discussion going out of focus or out of topic )

[mod note: If you wish to start a new thread please do so and we'll delete this one. Apologies your thread was hijacked.]

This thread is starting to fill with awesomeness. It starts with a question that's a little confusing, continues with people calling others rude and being hypocritical in the process, and then gets more confusing as people start going back and editing their comments multiple times. QL at its best.

Red pope, didn't i tell stop replying on my every post? find some other target.

country.. you didn't contribute into the matter either. so "if u have nothing helpful to say DONT SAY ANYTHING"!!

i hope this time it's clear, and you won't start all your nonsense with your enless "LOL" again..

the-birdie, as PITSTOP said, the question is not clear. Whether you want to know if your friend can join a new compny? or you want to know what will happen after Medical, fingerprint? Or you want to know how to get the passport from the Immigraton...and the main thing, i still didn't get why you call this situation 'funny'.. am i missing something?...so...If you want us to help you you have to clarify your concern.

What exactly is your question - Will he have to go through Medical and finger printing again?
