Visa on arrival for Family

I am an indian currently in Kuwait. I have a job in qatar and want to join them.My first question is if I have to cancel my current Kuwait Residency to obtain a residency in Qatar or I will be denied RP if my Kuwait Residency is not cancelled?
Secondly my family is currently in India and they have Kuwait residence on their passport. In case I have my Kuwait residence cancelled , can they join me in Qatar by obtaining a visa on arrival in Qatar by virtue of being a resident of Kuwait. This issue has arisen as I have not got my family visa which I will get after I get Qatar RP and I apply for it later. Since this process takes time I wanted to know if Family can join me with Visa on Arrival.

Thanks a Lot.

U mean even if I had my RP in Kuwait and my family had RP in kuwit with me as their sponsor , they cannot get visa on arrival and only I can get visa on arrival in Qatar . Is same th case for UAE and other gulf countries like Bahrain etc.

What is the way to get the family long with me if there is a way like tourist visa etc.I will get RP after around two months and then will take one more month to get vis for family. It is too long.

Thanks again for all the help

No you cannot hold 2 RP's unless you have business establishments in both countries. Your family cannot join you here with a visa on arrival from India. Once you join the job in Qatar you must apply for your RP and then for your family visa. Only then can they join you here. When you cancel your Kuwaiti RP automatically your family also stand to lose their RP as they would have been under your sponsorship.

Even if your spouse has a separate Kuwaiti RP under the sponsorship of her employers then too the visa category has to be either a Doctor/Engineer/ Accountant or the like to be eligible for Visa on Arrival in Doha.
