Hi every,

Urgently!!!

I am Chinese Engineer holding 3-year Work Visa and I have worked in Doha for 8 months. I will come back to China without returning back to Qatar, and my company asked me to wait in Doha until my visa is cancelled by the government (they said that I must stay in doha during this procedure). Due to my tight schedule, I need to leave on 15-Dec-2008, so I wonder to know

1. whether it is possible to canncel my work visa after my departure.

2. If I must stay in Doha, how many days will it take to cancel my visa? (It is said the government is on hodlidays till 15-Dec-2008

Thank you very much!!!

Looking forward to your reply

if u want to go out of Qatar u can and from china u can send ur passport to cancel ur visa.

if they need to cancel ur visa its very easy they can cancel it from airport direct.

or if u need u can go very easy and ur visa will cancel automatically when u stay out of Qatar more than 6 month

I HAD CANCELLED ONCE BEFORE AND IT WONT BE LONG NOT EVEN 2 WEEKS. DEPEND ON YOUR PRO. IF YOU ALREADY OUT OF QATAR BETTER DONT COME BACK. I BET YOU, IT WONT TAKE LONG. I HAD DONE IT ONCE UNLESS THE COMPANY WANTS TO HOLD YOU UP HERE! CAREFUL

No need to wait for the cancellation of your visa if you really wanted to go home now. What you need is your passport & exit permit from your company and then leave.
