I am planning to bring my father to Doha on visit visa he is 71 years old, will I get visa for him, could you please suggest how?

Yes it is diff for diff nationalities.Qatar being an asian country , u dont get certain visas for those above 60from asia!
Both my sister and limafoxtrot's mother were over 70 when they visited!
Both were visiting from UK so, as I said before, I don't know if the situation is different for other nationalities.
You cannot get a visit visa for ur father since he is above 60. You can only get a two weeks tourist visa which they say cannot be extended, but if ure lucky they just might extend it like i did for my mom n dad.
I obtained a visit visa for my Mum at website www.gov.qa
It cost 100qr for 1 month. Check the website out, it has some useful information.
yes, you can get the visa. its a visit visa cost 200qrs & extendable to 5 more months.Not sure may be the nationality matters
Oh, and for whatever reason, they only accept payment by a Visa card! They won't take cash or payment with a debit card.
My 74 year old sister came from UK to Doha to visit me for a few weeks in February of this year. I travelled over with her and we simply purchased a visitor's visa for her at immigration, over the counter. I believe it was valid for 4 weeks. Can't remember the cost, but it wasn't loads.
She is a UK citizen. I don't know how it is for other nationalities.

Yes u can, the fee for visit visa is 200qr p m.
U can apply in ministary, near madinath khalifa bridge.
the processing may take 1 week time.
