Is it true that you dont need a Visa for a newborn below 3 months? Can the baby be sponsored by monther? My husband is not in Qatar, working elsewhere. Please advice...

Biju abraham is right

you can bring within 3 months,

after arrival, you have to complete formalities in a week, Get a duly filled form from any typing centre+photograps then you have to go to medical commission ( no need to carry baby there), register it by paying QRs100/-, get stamp from doctor, then proceed to immigration and stamp the visa.

If you are in sigle status you I dont thing you can bring your child here by on arrival, if you have family visa you can bring within 3 months (90 days), THE INFORMATION THAT SOME ONE GAVE YOU 2 MONTHS IS COMPLETELY WORONG, SOME ONE GAVE ME THIS WRONG INFORMATION AND I WAS FORCED TO BRING MY FIRST BABY WITH IN 60 DAY, BUT THAT IS NOT TRUE I BROUGHT MY SECOND BABY IN 89 DAY NO PROBLEM. but your case when you are single make sure before bring the child with you.
