@ kutch, take it easy mate! "we never enjoy life here" as you said,so i can see where your frustration is coming but please, let's not make this personal mate...because like you,i'm here for the money as well BUT, UNLIKE YOU,i'm enjoying life as much as i can here while i'm earning that money & i'll enjoy it when i go back home as well...so peace out...
@ choy,FYI,it is ILLEGAL in this country & any country for that matter to stand around on the street corner selling visas mate,in case you didn't realize...The employer applies to the Immigration Dept. for a visa or you find a job first, get a letter of employment from the employer, get the labour contract signed & stamped @ the Ministry of Labour, then go to Immigration,it's quite a process but that's what needs to be done...to my knowledge,Filipino visas are being issued no problem but they may have changed the rules, they do it when they feel the numbers of a certain nationality are too high, they stop issuing for a while till the numbers come down & then start again, but like i said, don't know if that is the situation @ the moment...good luck...
@ Kutch, yes but the ties between India/Pakistan & the Arabian Gulf go back MANY generations & therefore a LOT of older Gulf Arabs understand & speak Urdu/Hindi,even the local currency in this part of the world was Rupees, since they were all British colonies, the food of both parts have so many similarities, geographically the 2 parts are as close as can be to each other...please explain to me what trade, cultural & other ties the Phillipines has/had with the Gulf & for how many years?...The India/Pakistan-Gulf connection started MANY years before you or me or even our parents were born mate,Philipinos started coming to the Gulf to work yesterday in comparison...

Tagalog is far far away as Filipino only occupy 10% of the population where Indian and Pak is 60%.
They're afraid Tagalog will soon be the 2nd official language after Arabic, can you blame them?...*wink*!!
