help please!!! i applied in 1 government hospital in dubai and got accepted, they have send the visa and ticket to my agency already... then also i got accepted in a good hospital in qatar offering much higher salary, i told the agency that i will just cancel my employment in dubai, they agreed. the visa in dubai expired last feb 2011.
the problem is my visa processing in qatar seem takes too long... the company said they applied for my visa last week of january 2011 and up to this date, still no visa... i wonder what could go wrong, the other applicants that was also hired same time with me got their visa already last month.they just told me to wait. my question is does gcc shared data base when it comes to visas that was being issued, does qatar can issue visa to me while i still have existing visa from uae? does my employer in dubai can make me banned in qatar or other gcc country because i cancel my employment? how will i know if my visa in qatar got rejected? what r main reason why visa application is being rejected? help please!!!

Hi its just that Ur visa is taking time, there are no fix timings in Qatar for any thing one can get visa in 4-5 days & at times it takes months also.

Its just that in Ur case it is taking time, inshallah you will get Ur visa soon.

Don't worry abt Dubai visa cancellation as that doesn't matter in Qatar & in any way Ur dubai visa doesn't effect ur Qatar Visa.

U are not banned in Qatar for any reason.

Just don't worry & wait.

Why to ban your entry to Qatar?

First of all an employer doesn't care all these silly things. You can check your visa status online if you got application number.

Better to call the company who hired you here in Qatar, because it only takes 4 days and maximum of one week for visa application. You shouldn't cancel yet your visa in dubai so at least u have your options, but anyway it happened so better try to call them if what is really the status of your application so you can move on...Good luck.
