Yes if it is family visit visa you need a round trip ticket and if they ask what is your purpose tell them honestly to visit your husband for sure 100% no problem with that.Goodluck and godbless!!

I got my personal visit visa and my husband was the one who sponsored me.Is it possible to travel without the return ticket?

What would be the best reason if ever the immigration officer will ask me what is my purpose.

Please help me cuz Im afraid that they might hold me at the airport.

thank u very much in advance

if what he has is a visit visa, he doesn't need show money.. my cousin went through the same before, when she was at the airport, she was asked if she has pocket money, luckily, my mum was with her that time so she told the officer that she doesnt need show money..

sometimes the immigration officers at the airport in the Philippines also ask for the original visa (blue) so better if he has it also..

To jaredboy:

I called the number you sent. Sorry but you are giving the wrong information. I asked this guy and he told me they are not issuing dummy ticket. Instead you need to pay for the round trip ticket and it depends on you if you would like to refund the return ticket.

Personal visit visa can be extended for a maximum of 6 months. Prior to his extension, send your brother to the medical commission for his medical test. once you get the result, you can extend up to the maximum.

It's not because things are difficult that we don't dare, it's because we don't dare that makes things difficult!

if one immigration officer denied u entry bcause of something not necessary, try other officers...it happened to me and the 2nd officer let me passed w/o any question.

thanks. pedroh is right that stamped visa is enough.

is this personal visit visa can be extended? because on the approved visa, it is written there that duration is only for 1 month.

Immigration officials will definitely ask for the affidavit of support.

By coelacanth• 5 Jul 2009 12:10

Simple: Tell your brother to act smart and not as if it's his first time to fly out of the country. If the culprits sensed a single scent of fear, i'm telling you, they'll take their opportunity and take the bite...especially now that they know that most of the people going to Qatar on business/personal visa intends not to come back and instead work there. Keep the communication open, and be ready to call and talk to the immigration officer if needed. Just ask them straight what is the reason why he should be hold for departure, worst comes to worst. unless he's a criminal or produced a falsified document, can they hold him from leaving the country.

It's not because things are difficult that we don't dare, it's because we don't dare that makes things difficult!

yes, right now i am planning to book a ticket for my brother but before that i would like to verify all the documents that my brother needs to bring in the airport to avoid any hassle because.

with regards to the ticket, anyone of you who knows where i could get this two way ticket where the return ticket is dummy.

thank you.

thanks for the reply pedroh. that was a quick reply. because i have asked some of my colleagues here that some airport officials asked them this kind of affidavit of support to be taken from phils embassy here in qatar and sometimes they are not honoring this. they also told me that they should have 1000 US Dollars in their pocket.

i would like also to clarify this personal visit visa issued to my brother. can this be extended?

thank you.

what about the return ticket? .. he should have it..

By pedroh• 5 Jul 2009 10:34
pedroh

the stamped visit visa should be enough...but sometimes some airport "officials"...asks for your purpose of visit or how much dollars you have...just advise your brother to be calm and not be flustered by these questions.

GOOD LUCK!
