Visit Visa for Parents above 65

I heard that we cannot bring our parents on visiting VISA if they are above 65 in age. Approval for the same is entirely on the discreation of the Director.
Just want to know if some one has similar kind of experince and managed to get the VISA.
It is not a problem... when u apply for it the officer downstairs (at the emmigration office near emmigr R/A) will say that u will need to get the approval from the captain. He sits in the first floor. U need to convince him that they are healthy and all... and the reason u r bringing them... he also checks ur company NOC letter and he signs it... I have done it 2-3 times
Once I was asked to present my degree certificate... So I had to go there once more...
IT DEPENDS ON THE APPROVAL OF AN OFFICER IN IMMIGRATION...
IT CAN BE DONE.

The law depends on the person who signs the paper on that particular day. It is better if you can submit your parents application through your company. I did for my parents and got it signed by the Director without any hassel.

Dear, Ur information is wrong. The maximum age limit is 70. If u r here with ur family there is no problem. Go ahead with doccument like company letter, both of ur passport copies, RP copies, marriage cert.,perents pp copies and photos. Dont wait for someone to help u. Just go to emigration dept.

u can get it signed by the director but usually it will be for 15 days instead of 30 days n then u can renew it after but bare in mind it's Qatar so director discretion STANDS FOR ITSELF .
