Dear Hari,

1) You cannot bring your parents on your personal sponsorship, if your wife does not hold Residence Permit in Qatar.

2) Immigration has suspended issuing airport tourist visa which is valid for 14 days and extendable up to 28 days.

Hence, only option left for you to bring your parents is through Hotel tourist visa. They can stay maximum 1 month.

If you search old posts you will get some idea about getting Hotel visa.

You will not be able to bring them unless your wife has an RP here.

GO to airport and apply for the visa..

Get the application from online or directly from the immigration,...

you need yours and your parents passport copies...

Each visa will cost you 100 QAR..and it takes about 2 days...the status can be chcked online ...once it ready print visa online...

Hope this helps

Thanks Alqatariya and other members

In India the custom is that wife goes to her mother's place after 7th month. Hence my parents will be alone and free to come and stay with me here.

I'd love to bring my parents to this nice place. My big question still remains unanswered whilst am here and my wife is not here can my parents come over here.

What is the type of VISA that i should apply for my parents to come here.

Can they come here on a tourist VISA or something ??

Pl advise and help me !!

Thanks

Harish

If your parents are below 60 years, then you can go to Airport immigration department and apply for visa. If they are above 60 years then you have to immigration department in madinat khalifa and apply for visa.

Dear ..Your wife is expecting in APril ... and you want to bring your parents on March for 2 months...... I don't think that will be a good idea!!!

That's the time she should be attended with utmost care and love. In your absence your parents presence would be really good.

Think and Take a good decission.

Regards
