We shifted to Qatar from Dubai just one month before. My husband got his rp and v r on visit visa. The next day onwards v r looking for schools. Now ministry has strict instructions on this issue. So all the schools are not taking without rp.

It depends on the school my daughter previously enrolled at her school and accepted on visit visa but i had a promissory note that before the visit visa expire I will provide a residency permit under my sponsorship. That letter also I obtained a signature and stamp from my company for assurance that they will process the papers.

Dear Friend,

I recently moved from Muscat and to Qatar. I couldn't get my residency permit even after 45 days. Without residency permit schools didn't admit the child. My kid is waiting in India to complete my residence card process and the visit visa for them. Before making the move ask your employer to obtain the visit visa for the family. It is not Dubai.

Please check with your employer.

Good luck
