What is all about the HEPA B Carrier which is not contagious
i read a lot of postings here in this forum about Hepa B carrier, i have a cuzin who has working visa already but not yet stamped in the passport, still he is in the philippines.
as procedure, my cuzin will undergo medical check up in the Philippines from accredit clinic by Qatar government and found out that he is a HEPA B carrier and his certificate was stamped UNFIT. i asked him to have another opinion and according to the private doctor, its not contagious instead he is a healthy carrier. the clinic in the philippines suggested to get a waiver from his company here in Qatar but when i talked they were not willing to give.
the question is whats the truth about HEPA carrier, he will be working in a construction as an electrician, a lot of answers which are contradicting in this forum.
whats really the stand of Qatar government regarding this issue...
is there any rules/law about hepa carrier that cannot work in qatar?
if hepa carrier can work in a certain work place is it in the law of qatar?
all what i need is the truth...with a basis...not just an opinion....experiences is a great help too...
thanks in advance...hoping to hear you soon.
Kabayan,
Yung post ko po is according to the POEA po: di po ba pag nag pa medical ka sa atin if your hypertensive they send you to the Philippine Heart Center for series of test?
Paki check nalang po yung website ng OFW guide. salamat po.
Basta po pag Hepa B reactive po kayo, i think they cannot issue a RP kasi infectious sya.. and according sa profile nyo po ur cute and naughty, don't be cute and naughty na po..please do safe se*...
Non-infectious category:
Chronic renal failure
Chronic hepatitis failure
Congestive heart failure
Hypertension
Diabetes mellitus
Known case of cancer
Psychiatric disease and neurological disorders
Physical disabilities, i.e. color blindness, deafness
these diseases are not being checked...it'll take time for them to check..napa OA naman na po kng pati ang mga yan ichechek pa nila..Actually kabayan i have a housemate who was diagnosed with chronic renal failure..the Doctor said that the illness is already chronic..mga 10yrs. na daw po yun...kung chinecheck pa nila yun bakit pa po sya nabigyan ng RP? besides the doctor even required her to go to the Gov't Hospital for dialysis...kasi libre daw sa Gov't Hospital...
These kinds of Hepatitis are the Hepa A and E which can be transmitted thru fecal-oral route (like using the personal things, and eating foods prepared by infected person. e.g. eating a street food(kikiam, fishballs, barbeque, etc.)
Hepatitis B, C, D, F, and G can only be transmitted thru Blood contact(intercourse, needle pricks, delivery, and Blood transfusion)
i also know that Hepatitis can be transmitted by using the utensils of a person contaminated with this disease.

As of what I have known. Hepatitis B is not a CONTAGIOUS disease rather is COMMUNICABLE. There are differences between between the 2 terms. Hepatitis B is therefore, ONE of the diseases that would not allow a person to work abroad.
Hepatitis B doesn't have a cure. It can be transmitted thru Sexual Contact, Needle Pricks, Blood Transfusion, and baby inside the womb of Hepatitis Reactive Mother. It is very harmful like HIV-AIDS, and again there is no cure for that.
Even though the agency or the clinic there in the Phil. would allow him with the said permit, siya rin mahihirapan dito when he gets here kasi there is another Medical exam again, gastos lang..when found out na Reactive sya then papauwin din sya (gastos pa). For another option naman po, he can go to trusted Clinic/ Laboratory para nga malaman if he is really reactive with Hepa kasi ung ibang agencies dun alam nyo na po pinagkakakitaan ang mga kababaya natin.
I hope this will help po..Godbless.
