What to do if company ask for original degree certificates to submit to them?

My Company is saying to submit the original degree certificates to them for the stamping of visa. My co-employees says that company will not give it back till i go back to home country with cancellation.

Please tell, do company really need it for stamping ? And is their any rule to keep the certificates with them till cancellation? Can i ask them to give the certificates back after stamping of visa?

Dont make that mistake to give your original degree certificate and the company has got no right to keep with them,give them the scan copy of Ur certificate.
