Work Permit - Medical Issue

Hi QL Member and Friends,

First of all, I'm a new member here. Greeting to all.

I just got an offer from a medical organization here in Doha as a Finance Analyst. And i just finished and submitted to my recruitment agent all the required documents for my work permit.

Here, I'm a bit concern about my medical result and its stated in my medical report as i have "hypertension" and my blood pressure in "border line" status. But the doctor stated in my reports as "fit for work with medical treatment".

Can anybody here advise me if my case is the serious case that can be resulted my work permit can be denied by the Qatar Government?

Thank you.

Regards.

do you have history of previous hpn? or maybe just for that moment that's y, there's an elevation on bloop pressure..it's also true that they r more concern on x-ray & bld test results, as pre requisite for a job. But then, u have to be watchful for ur BP as baseline for underlying prob, hopefully there's none.. Better to buy that digital bp app to monitor ur Bp daily, esp.f ur already had a predisposing factors as u mention in the "borderline status". Seek medical attention on how to lower ur bp to normal. It's better to prevent, as the saying...GB :)

Phoenix_Rising, its bit release now. Thank you.

For the lung x-ray and re blood test in Doha, its not bother me at all. Insyallah i will pass the test. The only think I'm afraid of is my blood pressure. I don't know how serious the Qatar Government & hiring company handle the hypertension case.

Hopefully they can consider as none serious case at all.

if your fit for work as cerified by an Qatar Embassy accredited medical institution ... then it's ok.

and once you're in the country, you'll only need to bother again with lung x-ray and blood re-test prior to work visa issuance.

good luck ;)

Really? Hopefully my hiring company and Qatar Government will thought the same thing.

Don't think it will affect you since it was recommended by the medical doctor that U are fit to work and need some medications.
