work visa but no stamping on passport

Dear All,

I attended an interview recently and I am selected. Company PRO is saying they will make my work visa ,but they wont make stamp on my passport up to 3 months. They are saying they can send me at any point of time in this 3 months, if my performance is not found good.

Can some one explain what is this procedure and is there any problem with this. Can I apply for the family visit visa and driving licence in this 3 months?

If you are newly here, at the moment, you could have gone for medical and fingerprints. Unless your passport is stamped with RP sticker, after three months, the sponsor has to pay penalty.

You can apply for Driving license but not for Family Visit Visa as your RP is not done. If you want to bring your family for Visit, apply for one month tourist Visa (Not extentable).

driving visa yes you can and family visa you can not ..
