Torba Farmers Market
Qatar Foundation has partnered with Torba Farmers Market, a Qatar-based initiative that aims to deliver organic and locally-grown food and homemade products, to host a weekly market in Education City annually from November to March.
Since its launch in November 2017, people from across the country have flocked to Torba Farmers Market in Education City. The Qatari-founded initiative provides organic, locally-grown food and homemade products to the wider community in a friendly marketplace environment.
Location: Ceremonial Court, Education City
Timings: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
This year's Torba Farmers Market is till the 31st of March 2022.
The open-air market in Education City, popular during the seasons and open to the public, showcases Qatar's best food and produce. Among the events are arts and crafts demonstrations, food stalls, a soft play area for the little ones, as well as cakes, organic vegetables, and more.
Recently, the Education City Farmers Market featured locally grown vegetables and fruits, handmade accessories, plants, eco-friendly candles, pottery, baked goods, gardening, clothes, and much more!
