Barwa Bank rolls out summer spend campaign
Barwa Bank, Qatar’s most progressive Shari’ah compliant banking service provider, has announced the launch of its summer spend campaign for Visa cardholders, rewarding customers’ retail purchases with extra loyalty points and the chance to go on a fully paid holiday to Milan for four.
Currently running until August 10, 2015 and applicable to all purchase transactions – excluding cash withdrawal transactions – made through Barwa Bank Visa cards, the campaign instantly earns Personal and Prestige banking customers double loyalty points that are redeemable at partner retailers; eligibility for double loyalty points requires a minimum monthly spend of 7,000 QAR for Gold cardholders, and 10,000 QAR for Platinum cardholders – and likewise, a tri-monthly spend of 21,000 QAR for Gold cardholders and 30,000 QAR for Platinum cardholders. The incremental loyalty points will be credited on the first billing cycle upon the completion of the campaign period; customers who do not have an active credit card at the time of the announcement or double point credit will not be eligible for the campaign. During the campaign period, the top three ranking customers in spend on Barwa Bank Visa cards will each win a fully paid travel package covering return tickets for two adults and two children, as well as a three-night hotel stay arranged by the bank. The selection and announcement of the winners will take place on June 14, July 14 and August 13, 2015.
