Beauty salon shut down over the sale of expired products
A beauty centre located in Al-Waab has been shut down for two weeks by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC) for displaying and selling expired hair dye products.
The ministry has been inspecting stores and commercial outlets of all kinds in Qatar in order to expose violations of any kind from the specific standards that it has set.
Hence, this isn’t the first time the ministry has taken actions against the sale of expiry goods in a commercial outlet.
In fact, recently a restaurant at Pearl-Qatar was closed down for storing expired food products and serving them to its customers.
A recent tweet by the MEC revealed that it has conducted around 2604 inspections on restaurants, eateries, ladies and gents salons etc. for the month of March alone.
@Baladiya1 thank you.

Chin Tu Fat was at the parlour last week for Hot Oil Head Massage and the parlour people used Palm oil for massage and told her this is special Oil....:(
When she was home, she looked like a ghost ! :(
Employees need to be careful with their stocks to avoid problems.
It just comes down to greed...... Beauty products are expensive
Thumbs up! Great Efforts. But why is there a trend of using expired products, shouldn't these operators just throw them away or price it on sale before the expiry date...are that that lazy or greedy to put people's welfare at risk?! Tisk Tisk!
Well done to the authorities...
