DeBakey Best Buddies Club hosts unique event

The DeBakey Best Buddies Club hosted an event at Café Ceramique for the students of Step by Step Center for Special Needs, The Peninsula reported.

DeBakey High School-Qatar has partnered with Best Buddies-Qatar for the past three years. The students painted ceramics and enjoyed the time spent. Participating in such activities allows the students to create more awareness as well as compassion for all individuals within the community.

As DeBakey students must complete a minimum of 100 hours to graduate, students are given the opportunity to coordinate projects that allow them to enjoy their fulfilment for social responsibility.
