West Hartford police are searching for a 38-year-old Ethiopian woman, who is a Qatar resident, who went missing last week.

Mame Alemu Zegeye was last seen at 10am on August 8, when she left to do some shopping at Kane Street Plaza. The homeowner reported her missing around 2pm on August 15.

Police said Alemu Zegeye had no serious health concerns and that their concern for her safety was because she's a foreign national temporarily visiting the country.

Police described Alemu Zegeye as 5ft 5in tall and weighing 77kg. She was last seen wearing a brown blouse, black leggings, and brown house shoes.

Anyone know more?

But why the person took 7 days to report the matter. ? When somebody is late for a few hours we must make efforts to make contact ............. It seems she is with some known persons & is safe & sound, may be just ignored to inform her whereabouts ........... ......... .
