Qatar ranks second in petrol prices
Qatar ranks No. 2 after neighbour Saudi Arabia, the world's largest petroleum producer, in terms of low retail petrol prices in the Gulf.
Petrol here is the cheapest after Saudi Arabia, priced at $0.21 a litre. In Saudi Arabia, the rate is $0.14.
The fuel is the most expensive in the UAE in the region, at $0.74.
Kuwait, where the fuel is retailed for $0.23, ranks No. 3 after Saudi Arabia and Qatar in terms of cheaper motor fuel.
In Bahrain, the retail rate is $0.27, and in Oman $0.31, local Arabic daily Al Watan reported yesterday, citing the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

You should do what I did. Buy a KIA and upgrade the engine for performance and increased fuel consumption
This all means that I can run a Lexus 570 based on petrol price but I cannot afford to buy it based on my salary. Can we call it ironic irony.
