Qatar's F-15 fighter jets make first test flight
In another great accomplishment that strengthens Qatar's defense capabilities, the F-15 fighter jets, developed for the Amiri Air Force, completed their first test flight successfully.
In a tweet on its official Twitter page earlier today, Qatar's Ministry of Defense shared a video of the test flight, thanking the United States and Boeing for "the outstanding job" for the first successful test flight of the fighter jet.

The F-15 fighter jets are part of a deal that was signed between Qatar and the US Defense Department in June 2017, reported Qatar News Agency.
This model of the jet is the most advanced of its kind, as demonstrated through its ability to maneuver while taking off in the US airspace.
Commander of the F-15 QA Wing Colonel Pilot Ahmed Jadae Al Mansouri shared his pride in this success and said he looked forward to the continued success of the program.

This successful first flight is "a significant milestone that brings our squadron one step closer to flying this incredible aircraft over the skies of the State of Qatar," he added.
He mentioned that this is an important element in providing national security and protection of Qatar.
Qatar has been beefing up its security in recent years with several important agreements including the delivery of the first of 36 Rafael jets it ordered from French manufacturer Dassault. The country had also signed a mega-deal with the United Kingdom to buy 24 Typhoon fighter jets.
Qatar also continues to develop a strong cadre of aviation professionals and recently saw the graduation of its first female fighter pilot.

"This model of the jet is the most advanced of its kind, as demonstrated through its ability to maneuver while taking off in the US airspace." --- I think every airplane should be able to maneuver while taking off. Otherwise it would probably crash.
In this case, goodlittleboy, the fighters are completely useless and just another 'deal' of the US president.
Daniel: Unfortunately, the US has not been able to achieve that level of development in technology where it could use its arms and armament to fight pandemics. Yes, it does have the capability like other world powers, to wipe out entire human dwellings and entire cities but not the wee little virus invisible to the naked eye or even under a microscope.
Hopefully it can be used as a weapon against the Corona Virus to provide security and protection for Qatar.
