Qatari aircraft carrying aid for Lebanese people arrives in Beirut
A Qatari Amiri Air Force aircraft arrived at the Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut, Lebanon, on Monday, carrying emergency medical supplies and medicines provided by the Qatar Fund for Development.
The aircraft landed as part of the air bridge operated by Qatar to support the fraternal Lebanese people in their current humanitarian crisis.
Qatar’s Ambassador to Lebanon Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani formally received the aid, in the presence of Fadi Sinan, the Acting Director General of Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health.
Sinan expressed his country’s deep appreciation to Qatar for their continued support. In turn, Sheikh Saud promised Qatar’s continued support to Lebanon during their time of crisis.
