for those that claim to be Muslims but do not pay the wages of their employees they should read this.

Narated By Abu Huraira : The Prophet said, "Allah says, 'I will be against three persons on the Day of Resurrection:

1. One who makes a covenant in My Name, but he proves treacherous.
2. One who sells a free person (as a slave) and eats the price.
3. And one who employs a labourer and gets the full work done by him but does not pay him his wages.'"

smartbuddy:

"people keep talking about so called racism in malls. what do u want to do? allow everyone and anyone in a small place? labour class people who would never buy expensive stuff but are only in the malls for passing time and staring at people and things?"

I hate to disappoint you but it's perfectly normal everyone to be allowed into a mall, isn't it a public place?

Belonging to labour class makes u different from any other class?

"This is Qatar, do not expect it to become US where anything or everything is allowed, where rapes is seen as just another thing and rate of crime is on always on the rising curve."

Not the best way to go, just thinking about a country where there is a dress code that imposes restrictions to women clothing because the men on that country can't resist a naked shoulder....(even if not all national males are like this it's still pretty sad).

"Keep urself in shoes of a family, imagine u are around in a mall with ur young daughter and the mall is full packed with people who are least expected to buy anything but just are onlookers, staring at people and things, comfortable? think from other side of coin too and yes give suggestions instead of feelings!"

It happens all the time, only differences are that i don't have a daughter but a 6 year old niece, and i don't mind people to look, it doesn't pay taxes, besides, men will all look if someone like Claudia Schiffer walks by, or in ladies case if a guy looking as Brad Pit passes by them, they'll look.

I support that, bachelors of all nationalities including Qatari's should be restricted to enter the malls on weekend rush days.

I am not against labourers or low wage people, i respect them as they are created by same god who created rich people.

but restricting bachelors is a good preventive measure and should be implemented more strictly.

By smartbuddy• 21 Oct 2008 12:24

so not allowing bachelors on weekend rush days is mistreating them according to u, amazing level of understanding u got!

yes if i indeed mistreat anyone in my life, may the curse be on me and I get my punishment in this life itself.

Right cannot be proved wrong by saying it hundred times or thousand times, restrictions at the malls on weekend is the best possible solution for facilitation of families on rush days and there were and would always be people who would oppose the rules which don't suit them.

keep arguing for nothing, family day does not mean only couples are allowed entry, it could be brother/sister, son-mother etc, daughter-father, if u understand those relations.

anyways, ur arguing for nothing will not make any difference. like it or hate it but u have to live with it, if not, there are regular flights flying home!

By genesis• 21 Oct 2008 11:22

your arguments can be right if there is no discrimination in the race of bachelors banned from Malls. you see Bedouin locals stare & in fact harass women.

By anonymous• 21 Oct 2008 11:19
anonymous

buty even married men staring at women, then follow the logic in practice at Mosque wherein there is a separate chambers for women worshippers.

It should be Ladies'Day in malls and not family day. In Mosque, if you put the ladies with the men, the same scenario as in malls will happen, so why not do the same thing in mall? In other day than Friday, families still flock the malls and they are also stared by bachelors there, so what's the difference.

I am just following your logic, Mr. Smart guy, or are you?

regarding ur second comment, yes all humans are equal not just confined to place of worship but everywhere else. but to see the mall restrictions as inhuman to any particular class is absolute misunderstanding. these are two separate things........a father has to be cruel to be kind sometimes, he shouts at his kid not because he hates him/her but to make him/her a good person.

restrictions in place are not to cause harm to bachelors but to as a preventive step to facilitate families. there is police who patrol at different places, some streets require more patrolling than the other, do u think police is discriminating here? offcourse not.

similarly restrictions imposed are for a larger good and remove the glass of so called racism put on ur eyes by some people, think logically, the labors, the low waged people are all respected there is no doubt about that but for maintaining the law and order, good facilities etc etc some restrictions have to be imposed.

By smartbuddy• 21 Oct 2008 10:47

So ur suggestion is live with it, tomm u will say so what if robbery is on the rise, so what if there are plenty of robbers around, just live with it but don't take any preventive action, isn't it?

i dont know about ur's but this country gives high respect to women, their respect cannot be compromised at the cost of allowing a huge group of bachelors into a shopping place where they do everything else other than shopping.

annoyed by locals for what, yes i do agree for rash driving otherwise locals (on average) should not be a problem for anyone.

I am one but even though I somehow annoyed by these "poor labourers" (as you describe them). I can live with it. I decided to go here and I know that there are plenty of them here, I need to deal with it. I am also annoyed by the locals, but I can also live with it, its their (or your) country, so no problem with me. Why, do you think it's only the labourers who are smelly ( and worse), think again, Mr. Smart guy (or are you?)

I asked for suggestions but u keep blabbering with ur words, shouting slogans of so called racism which does not exist at all and displaying ur feelings around.

Keep urself in shoes of a family, imagine u are around in a mall with ur young daughter and the mall is full packed with people who are least expected to buy anything but just are onlookers, staring at people and things, comfortable? think from other side of coin too and yes give suggestions instead of feelings!

you accept this banning of bachelors because it doesnot happen to you. Put your shoes on these poor labourers (as you describe them).

And let me follow your logic, if these people don't like Qatar, they should leave,... I say, if you don't like to mingle with these people, then don't bring them here. You want progress, deal with the consequence and one consequence is dealing with these people. Your answer, Mr. Smart, are you?

Keep the discussion in the right direction, the hadith is not about racism or discrimination its about paying for what is done for you, employing someone and do not paying wages feels really bad. and its frequent in this country we live.

Meaningful you are right, it would be better if they publish the hadith on gulf times.

I mentioned fact about US and that does not mean u call it Hate.

Who said married men do nothing wrong, but even they are not allowed when they go alone to the malls and they are allowed only when with family.

so whats ur suggestion, allow anyone and everyone all the time to the malls so that people who actually come for shopping don't even have breathing space because of people who have no business in the malls but simply pass time since that they cannot afford the things available at the malls? whats ur suggestion, just criticizing things blindly just because u do not feel its right, is it justified? The authorities would have taken a decision only after lot of thinking and discussions.

And its not one mall who adopted this policy but its well across, so where does it show discrimination, its a simple way of controlling things.

Like it or hate it, this is how it is, choice is yours enjoy Qatar or enjoy ur home country where u can criticize at top of ur voice.

The prophet Mohamed (pbuh) said that one should pay the wages of a worker even before his sweat has dried.

so those who are making people work and then not paying them are in great violation of Allah's laws. However when these people who are not paid go back to their homelands, some with no pay, they have a bad impression on Islam altogether. In the end it is Islam that is blamed.

people keep talking about so called racism in malls. what do u want to do? allow everyone and anyone in a small place? labour class people who would never buy expensive stuff but are only in the malls for passing time and staring at people and things?

This created a lot of uneasyness for families due to increase in population at the malls of bachelors.

The entry ban is the best step the malls could have taken to facilitate a large number of families who come to the malls.

if u don't like this environment, u are not forced to be here in Qatar, u can always go back to a country where everything or anything is considered "Ok", I SUPPORT THIS ENTRY BAN as its a the Best Preventive Measure that was taken to protect the dignity of families, women and children.

This is Qatar, do not expect it to become US where anything or everything is allowed, where rapes is seen as just another thing and rate of crime is on always on the rising curve.

Realsome can you give the Hadith reference for the above saying of the Prophet, that if you know.

Coming back to equality in Islam and slaves and kings kneeling infront of God side by side. Well that equality is only applicable in front of God. Cannot be applied to the Malls. Malls are places where you go shopping (most of the people do appart from a few dossers). But unfortunately in this part of the world it has become a recreation place for all.

So the ones who have the ability to spend and the one that dont..That is the inequality not be allowed or been allowed is not the question and comparsion to the Mosque scenario is completly wrong.
