Arab-American zionists

Uranus1
By Uranus1

This guy is something else: An Arab, American, and tea partier, who is an outspoken zionists.

I did some quick searches and was surprised at how many Arabs were outspoken zionists. This is not a point of view one hears in the media.

The story:

Did you know the Arab-American community is represented within the Tea Party crowd? Justin Amash is the son of a Palestinian father, and Syrian mother. He performs the role of a thoroughly “assimilated” Yankee Doodle Arab complete with that familiar, American-friendly first name, and even quotes Ronald Reagan. This Tea-Party Arab is another great example of why we should reject ethnic-based politics.

Amash was the successful Tea Party Republican candidate for the 3rd Congressional District in Michigan. His views are the extremist version of typical, Republican, right-wing drivel, and not very interesting or original. He offers the sort of canned rhetoric you would expect from an enthusiastic 18-year old college freshman attending a gathering of Young Republicans for the first time.

Amash is also a Zionist who’s gone out of his way to express his commitment to Israel, and a strong US-Israel alliance.

Yes I do. I am in a country a like doing a job I enjoy. I have an excellent standard of living, great health and plenty of leisure time. I am not angry at the world like you and full of racism. I am not a hypocrite, and I am not full of guilt. I do not have to lie to win an argument.

Sad, sad doggy. You make this too easy. Hope you wake up happier with yourself tomorrow.

By anonymous• 2 Mar 2011 23:21

yeah - you got it all worked out.

By anonymous• 2 Mar 2011 23:16

I don't go to therapy. It has not worked for you. You hate everything about your surroundings and slave away in a job in a system you hate. How sad to be the spanked doggy!

Cryspy is referring to you doggy. I asked why you are in a country you hate, and he says "same as all the other Arab haters". That's you doggy! You are the one who says such bad things about Arabs and Qatar on other threads. Ha! Ha! Racist Doggy spanked again. This time by himself.

Why do you say such bad things about Qatar's leaders? They are good hosts that allow foreigners like you to make good money.

By anonymous• 2 Mar 2011 21:49

Yeah - obviously that was too subliminal to register with his "brain"

ha ha at doggy! Which online university did you attend?

Cryspy does not call VG racist?!? You are the racist who hates capitalism in Qatar.

Why you hate Qatar so much doggy? It's not perfect but better than where you came from otherwise why be here? Doesn't that make you capitalist? Yes, you are hypocrite. ha ha at doggy!!!

I don't know guys. I'm trying to pity him, but I don't have a lot of time for ignorant racists. I think it is time for him to ask the online university for his money back and go set up a commune somewhere. He's cracking under his hypocrisy of living in a country he loathes. Well . . . . now that I put it that way, I think I do pity him a little. I am off for the night, I little the embryo Stalin rant on his own for a while. Maybe if he goes on long enough someone will agree with him. But then that was the problem with the Marxists, they had this awful habit of declaring everyone as soft on the cause and killing them. Soon there were hardly any left.

By anonymous• 2 Mar 2011 18:57
anonymous

Me -racist?? Ignorance? post please! I thought crispy was referring to you. No?

Using your words and logic, if you say I am racist and you are not a racist like me, who are you like as a racist??

By anonymous• 2 Mar 2011 18:55
anonymous

doggy is a racist and a homophobe to boot. he just makes stuff up as he goes along. just an angry little man. so full of hate and confusion. spends all day on QL so probably just lonely and unemployed so maybe pity is the best for him.

By volleygirl5• 2 Mar 2011 18:50
volleygirl5

i am not racist like you doggy. you posts are full of hate, racism and ignorance. mostly ignorance cause you hate everything you don't understand which is obviously a lot. i do feel sorry for you. you are obviously sad, lonely and craving attention.

By anonymous• 2 Mar 2011 16:23

If you hate capitalism and social inequality what are you in doing in Qatar doggy? Or is that a question with too many syllabus for you to understand?

By anonymous• 2 Mar 2011 15:29

Let me sum up your response to this.

"I hate capitalism and the wars. social inequity /injustice,and environmental catastrophy in global warming that it brings"

the guy in the OP is crazy on about four levels. i think its an act for pr, but his right to express himself. but just cause you are muslim and arab does not make you anti-Israel, and just cause you are a Jew doesn't make you a zionist. i've met plenty of arab muslims who sympathize with Israel and Jews who dont in NYC.

@doggy if you hate capitalism and the environment damage it does, why are you in qatar? this place is number one for per capital carbon emissions and has bigger rich-poor-gap than almost anywhere. i'm lovin the capitalism here but you aren't so why stay?

By anonymous• 2 Mar 2011 10:29
anonymous

If doggy hates capitalism and money he be in the wrong wrong country! Or are you trying to change Qatar?!? Dangerous for you if you are!

By Uranus1• 2 Mar 2011 10:06
Uranus1

One_shot. The guy in the article is a Muslim. His parents are Palestinian and Syrian, and neither is a Christian or a Jew. He's also a big supporter of the Bush family and part of the US tea party. That makes it surprising.

By Uranus1• 2 Mar 2011 10:03
Uranus1

What is an 'ascertion' dodgy?

Dodgy is this what you mean by critical thinking? lol!

From Dodgy's post on capitalism: "I hate capitalism and the wars. social inequity /injustice,and environmental catastrophy in global warming that it brings. Is that to much for you plebs to chew and digest ???"

Even the hack website from which you bought your degree would be embarrassed.

If you hate capitalism, why are you in Qatar? This place is capitalism, carbon emissions, and social inequity to the extreme. You must loathe yourself for being a slave to such a system. Either that or you're just another hypocrite. Personally, I am thriving and loving it here.

By anonymous• 2 Mar 2011 07:17

One shot - yes- to people like Nomerci/Uranus, this is certainly news to them. Its just amazing how ignorant some people are about the world around them and the socio-economic forces that shape it. Shallow nation?

By anonymous• 2 Mar 2011 07:12
anonymous

spot on Crispy. Security is the excuse used by the Zionist for stealing other peoples land and resources. Israel is a terrorist, apartheid, racist, imperial state.

By anonymous• 2 Mar 2011 07:02

more platitudes Uranus?? Thats your comeback for my ascertion on capitalism and stated reasons. Critical thinking and reasoned arguments - something we will never see in your posts.

why u are astonished.

u didn't know that there is a lot of arab jews???

but in israel they are not allowed to participate in elections.(to be in higher commands)

only European jews

By anonymous• 1 Mar 2011 23:44

and this made me laugh

"“Israel’s borders must be secure, recognized, and defensible, and it must be free to respond to hostilities that threaten its people.”

the question is, do the Zionists really believe on their borders???

adey--dodgy is also a professed marxist, so calling us plebs is his way of thanking us for correcting his errant ways. Isn't that right comrade dodgy?

By adey• 1 Mar 2011 23:01

but then again 'The Republic' was really based on a fascistic elite. Being a Plebeian is something of a virtue in such circumstances.

dodgy--sounds like you hate the West to me--or at least your perverted view of it. Good luck with that. Perhaps you can put it on your next visa application that the American embassy can reject.

By anonymous• 1 Mar 2011 22:41
anonymous

I will be honest with what I don't like about the UK/Ireland and at the moment there is a lot not to like :-) Still proud of where I come from though.

I don't hate any, religion, culture or country. I may not like some elements of it but hey they make not like elements of mine either.

exiled, I have met an Arab in Saudi, he is not Saudi though, who really dislikes Palestine and had nothing but disregard for Palestinians. That was a new one for me too!

Uranus, I have met a Yank that hates America. Seriously. Weird but true. But yah, he is a brother now.

By anonymous• 1 Mar 2011 22:35

Strange he is a Zionist but it's a personal choice and I am glad a place like the US allows this

By Uranus1• 1 Mar 2011 22:30
Uranus1

I am sure there are some out there, but I just have not yet met the American over here that hates the West. A few liberal Brits do the ranting, but I wonder about their sincerity. The rest like dodgy (aka about half a dozen other usernames) and sillyguy are just jealous because their visa applications get regularly rejected by the US embassy. The are like the little boys on the playground who cannot get the little girl's attention so they pull her ponytail in hopes that she will be interested. Anyone who spends that much time hating something has lost love deep down.

By nomerci• 1 Mar 2011 22:23

Uranus, yes, there are expats in the ME who hate the West. I have met some, you can see them here on QL...and , last but not least, there are even Western expats who hate the West. The ones I know of are

"reverts" though.

By anonymous• 1 Mar 2011 22:16

to escape western bombs????

By Uranus1• 1 Mar 2011 22:14
Uranus1

Expats in the ME don't hate the West. I don't. And it seems as if quite a few Arabs living in the West don't either. This guy has a Palestinian parent, and he still supports Israel (and his parents don't have a problem with it). I suspect there are MANY more like him who manage to go to the US and decide to be American first rather than Arab-American or Arab.

I am not a fan of his politics, but good for him to be able to loose all that baggage that people think he should be carrying.

By moootwist• 1 Mar 2011 22:09

If Arabs hate westerners why do they apply/beg for either visit, student, or resident visas for these countries.

Nomerci - no - because there seem to be Zionist, capitalists, bourgeois, reactionary, neo-conservative Arabs that do not hate the West.

dodgy...so the expats in the ME hate the West? Yes, I suppose some do.

Same with Nonie Darwish. I consider it quite unattractive. However, I do support his decision to be an American without a hyphen.
