Who like Balot, some Pinikpikan. Taste good ay? I just found out about these meals and thank God I was fasting because I would have barfed all over. Do you people actually eat this stuff?

Eating bugs is a ok but an ABORTED DUCK! Thats just sick and nasty. You guys can keep that cruelness. And of course eating a lot is bad for you! You're eating an aborted baby duck!

I think you are just seeing the most simplest nasty food in your life..you should watch "BIZARRE FOOD WITH ANDREW ZIMMEM"....and you will see how much he loves to eat fried scorpions,spiders,bugs..etc.Oh,BTW did you try to eat ESCARGOT? it's soooo yummmy!

Balot is believed to be an aphrodisiac by the southeast asian guys....so,you cannot blame them by eating it with their eyes closed.

I MISSED BALOT A LOT... THAT'S ONE OF THE DELICACY I MISSED, USED TO HAVE ALMOST IT EVERYDAY IN THE PHILIPPINES. BUT BEWARE GUYS YOU SHOULD NOT EAT MORE THAN 2 EVERYDAY, ITS GOOD TO HAVE IT TOGETHER WITH BEER OR GINEBRA (PHILIPPINE GIN). AND YES ITS AN ABORTED DUCK.

But why Balot?! You might as well chomp on some celery or other vegetables like carrots and onions(?) to buff up your 'libido'. On top of that are peaches and bananas.

If ya'll wanna keep it Asian, you might go for some pomegranate as it is a symbol of fertility with its abundant seeds (to the Chinese and neighbouring peoples).... >.<

I can't imagine to do what though... Whitefeather's on to something...!

where I'm from, people won't buy it. That's considered "collateral damage"...and is usually fed to cats and dogs. But as I said, strange delicacies abound ;)

absolutely disgusting, but a lot of cultures rate decidedly "exotic" dishes as delicacy, so I'm not surprised, however aborted ducks are new to me...I've seen all kindsa bugs get devoured...

I don't know, I never tried and unless I'm forced to do so at gun point. Insha' Allah I never will. But you go ahead and enjoy more for you since I'm not having any.

Wow, I just looked it up as well. Fetuses taste good? Really?! I wonder if this 'delicacy' is available in Qatar cause I'm eager to try it...
