Help with some research
I am a professor who was in Doha teaching all of last year. I am trying to study what people in several Arab countries understand to be the meaning(s) to be of the general concept of the "rule of law" (hukm el-qa'nun).
I am trying to get as much information about how people in Qatar understand the meaning(s) of this idea as possible. I am especially interested in the responses of Qataris on this general topic.
I have prepared a very short survey, and I would welcome responses from people who have lived in Qatar for awhile, particularly from native Qataris and Arabs from other countries.
I am not interested in and will in no way use names or personal information, so the survey is truly anonymous, safe and directed towards legitimate academic research. This research is not going to be used in any political way, and is intended to reflect the variety and interest of your ideas about law and the rule of law.
I thank anyone very much in advance who can take a few minutes to fill out the short Word document in English and send it back to me. Please only send serious survery responses.
Best wishes to oldies and newbies on Q-living. I definitely miss Qatar and look forward to returning.
