Iraq re-emerges at head of Arab league
Libya's suspension for the league means that leadership has gone to Iraq. This has made me wonder about what sort of Iraq is going to be emerging in the next few years. What sort of foreign policy will it pursue? Once recovered it has the potential to be a major if not THE major power in the region. What does the future hold?

BAGHDAD — After Libya was suspended from the Arab League last month, de facto leadership ended up coincidentally in the hands of Iraq, the Arab nation with the most experience — much of it painful — with a foreign-led military campaign against an unpopular dictator.
