Murray to win US Open?

SouthLand
By SouthLand

I guess there is a chance for some sort of redemption after not making it to the Wimbledon finals.

Was going thru my previous posts. Just realized I've been trying to setup an anti-Murray camp!

Nothing like that honestly, I love Fedex's game so much that I'd have blasted anyone else who played him in the finals. Federer, despite so much success, he still is a great player, nice person, perhaps one of the most well behaved on court and a great ambassador for the game! Isn't he?

Ha! He gave Murray the spotlight for a few minutes, it's not so bad! Hahaha!

Oh yeah! The final set would've been ever more one-sided. Federer was leading 5-0 at one point. He sat on the sidelines thinking about the trophy already and Murray got a chance to serve out two services games with a barrage of Aces! LOL

Fedex rocks! 6-2, 7-5, 6-2 complete walk over Murray.

5 in a row US Open & Wimbledon Champion :)

I just love seeing this guy play. Wish Nadal could've made it to finals, amazing match missed out.

I paid for access to a Wimbledon site, to watch the tennis on my laptop, only to find that Dubai Sports showed the finals live anyway! typical!

Jauntie : Yup it's midnite QST! Don't know which channel would air it LIVE. I watch it on Tensports relayed from India :)

Janeyjaney : That was just to reconfirm your age bracket! :P LOL. Midnite isn't too late, its Ramadan. Day begins at 8 PM! :D

You can give the same sensation to your neck muscles when the tennis season is not on in Doha. Get a center seat in first row of cinema for an action movie! :)

Tallg, that's true. But then again Federer and Schumacher were such great champions, I'd never want to see them lose.

As a matter of fact, Nadal is a great ambassador of Tennis. Despite losing the semis earlier today, he went on to sign autographs for his fans! That says a lot about him.

I have a question about Nadal. Why doesn't he wear a better underwear? or does he wear a thong?

My vote for Federer. Will Fed get his No. 1 position, if he win this title?

New people winning Grand Slams (and even getting to finals) is always good for the sport. If the same one or two people (or teams) dominate a sport it soon gets boring.

My vote go to Federer............

or any good thing I can do for another human being,

let me do it now, for I shall not pass this way again

Even though he's a Brit, I think that federer will be too much for him.. Federer has restd an extra day and knows how to handle the pressure of the big finals..

You never know though!

nadal is still young. Murray just found out his weak backhand.

Should be interesting.

Off the top, I would agree. Although, I think Roger has one eye on retirement. Nadal found the chink in his armour and now Nadal is ousted by Murray. Seems like the king of the courts' reign is ending.

Would be awesome, but despite having a good record against Federer (2-1 I think) I think he'll find it one 'big match' too far.
